Gun Bill Passes the Senate – RedState

We reported earlier that the Senate had voted to move forward on the gun bill, known as the “Safer Communities Act.” My colleague Jennifer Van Laar provided the text and some initial analysis of the Senate gun bill, earlier this week, and it includes some big concerns over red flag laws.

The Senate just passed the bill, 65-33, with some Republicans obviously helping the Democrats pass the bill in a very bad move.

It now goes to the House.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer celebrated.

A very bad move that is going to impact gun rights.

As this is breaking news, RedState will provide updates as they become available.
