When can I apply for an internship? We recruit interns on an on-going basis and applications are accepted throughout the year. You can apply anytime via our online application platform. Your application will be considered for the round corresponding to the nearest of the four deadlines below:
Shortly after each deadline, all applications in the system are evaluated. Applicants who are not selected are removed from the system and are not considered during the next rounds. The internship is expected to start in one/two months after the application deadline but an alternative timing can be agreed upon in certain circumstances. |
Who can apply?Internships are open for students who:
Internships will take place remotely and, as the COVID-19 pandemic situation allows in the future, on-site in Trento, Italy. Interns will be on-boarded as long as they are located in an OECD Member country or country with which the OECD has a privileges and immunities agreement. Internships are primarily open to nationals of OECD Member countries. Subject to approval of the Secretary-General, internships may be open to nationals of non-Member countries. For on-site internships, the selected candidates are responsible for obtaining their visa, if required. |
Note to applicants: Due to the high volume of applications expected, the OECD Internship Office is not in a position to provide individual feedback. Therefore, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted by Directorates for an interview. If you are not contacted by Directorate hiring teams within three months following your application’s submission, you can assume your application has not been retained on this occasion and you can apply again according to the calendar on our website. Please remember you will still need to be enrolled as a student during the internship period. |
